We now have THREE active, named tropical cyclones simultaneously spinning across the Western Pacific (WPAC) basin. This is the first time in eight years for the month of July.
- TS Francisco (#DantePH) has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 3:00 PM today, as it moves towards the East China Sea.
- TY Co-May (#EmongPH) begins to loop before turning northeastward towards the Ilocos Region.
- TS Krosa is affecting the Marianas while moving poleward towards the north-central Pacific Ocean.
DANTE and EMONG are having a binary interaction, commonly known as the Fujiwhara effect, while also both enhancing the Southwest Monsoon (#HabagatPH).
