SOLAR ERUPTION AND STORM ALERT – JUNE 12

A towering prominence and a massive filament just erupted from the Sun’s northern limb, launching high-speed CMEs into space. Neither is heading toward Earth, but storm conditions are still building.

Geomagnetic activity is forecast to intensify between now and Saturday. A G2-level impact is possible, with chances of auroras and minor disruptions to radio and satellite systems.
